On november 13th we had an assessment in class where we had to form groups of three and demonstrate a coaching mentoring session using the max landsberg instant payoff model. I believe that my group couldve done better had we correctly followed the model by landsberg and some let nervousness get the better of them. I however believe i came across as quite professional, greeting the individual with hello/goodmorning how are you today. Then informing the individual that we will use the amax Landsberg instant payoff model to help us identify the issue and narrow down and find a soloution forward. I demonstrated good body language, i asked questions that i believed helped the other indiviual to simply and narrow their issue down to what the actual issue is, what has been done, what alternative is there and next step forward. I did this by simply listening and asking relevant questions without me telling the other individual what to do and how to do it. However there are other models that are also used for coaching and mentoring such a the GROW model, ACHIEVE model and more. But our lecturer requested we used the Instant payoff model. Please include a number of other coaching and mentoring models that are used in business. Include who the model is by and how well they work. Or if theres 1 that may be better suited.
